Energy Efficiency Experts in Auckland
Another Energy Efficiency Export Initiative has been successfully carried out by the NZGBA. The visit of key players from Germany has again reinforced the serious interest Germany has in New Zealand.

Experts from Germany and New Zealand joined our one day conference in Auckland on Energy Efficiency in Buildings. The main topics were trends, policies and future perspectives on the use of energy in buildings. |

To break the ice between the kiwi and German participants, we introduced our
special “speed dating”, where the participants had just a minute to introduce themselves to
their counterpart. Our guests really enjoyed this part of the programme. The representatives of the trade delegation also had the opportunity to introduce their businesses and describe their visions to the audience. |

The New Zealand German Business Association organized a number of one-on-one meetings between the German company representatives and pre-selected New Zealand business partners. Key speakers of the conference and host Monique Surges (right) were quite happy with the outcome. |
