The Art of Action - How you can close the gaps between plans, actions and results02 November 2011, 4.30-6.00pm For a successful management every company should try to close the gaps between plans, actions & results. This workshop encouraged all attendees to think differently about business planning and take time to step back and reflect on current business practice. Essential questions are: Where are you now? Where do you want to be? How will you get there? Increasing action rather than circular planning will help to reach results and goals. After Simons’ presentation the attendees discussed this highly interesting topic and their individual cases vigorously and most realized that they plan too much and don’t act enough. |

Negotiating with Germans26 October 2011, 4.30-6.00pm We have been running this popular workshop for over 5 years. 20 attendees again came along to get a light-hearted look at how Germans 'tick' and learn what factors can make or break their approach to a German company. The reasons for attending were diverse from an introduction to dealing with German businesses, better understanding of German thinking to how to get what you want from a German company. Lessons learned: In a business environment Germans are very punctual, honest, and extremely organized. They like formality, facts and structured presentations. |
