BMW Winterfest 2011 - A Night Of Mid-winter Festivity
|
Our inaugural BMW Winterfest 2011 with just over 300 guests was a success from the start. It was exactly what most of us needed during these unpleasant winter times: good fun and a bit of cheering up in a warm festive atmosphere with a touch of Christmas spirit. Some of our guests really got into the Christmas mood, coming along with their own festive outfits and accessories, like the crazy teams from Stihl (picture) and AJ Park. Good on them! |

NZGBA CEO, Monique Surges (right in picture) acted as “Mistress of Ceremonies” throughout the evening, welcoming and entertaining the crowd with a quiz as well as overseeing the Charity Auction sales. Mr Gary Holt (left in picture) with Greg Hedgepeth, BMW Sales & Marketing Manager, won the raffle prize worth over $2000 and can now test his driving skills in wintery conditions in the Southern Alps on the BMW Alpine X Drive programme. |

A BMW X5 displayed in the festive hall provided its own sparkle. Candles and fairy lights set off the magical atmosphere of a traditional German Christmas setting. Mulled wine, German beers and good hearty German food took care of the physical well-being. The beautiful voices of the Bachmusica Choir and their Christmas potpourri of songs put us directly into a festive mood. |

After some great food and some Christmas cheer it was time to dance the night away to the rhythms of the Rodger Fox Band. Click here to see more photos from the BMW Winterfest 2011. |
